In 2015, the total output of cotton in China was about 5.61 million tonnes, falling 9% or so compared to the output in 2014. In 2016, the output reduced by 260 thousand tonnes and 4.6%. In 2015, the plant area of cotton in Anxiang County reduced by about 17%, the output was nearly 20,000 tonnes, falling by 16% or so. In 2016, the nineteen villages and towns at Anxiang County were combined into twelve villages and towns, where a new planting regional structure has been established.

Since cotton industry has been promoted and improved, a few leading companies has been built relatively complete and professional supplying chains. Supported by the central and local governments, the industry has been integrated fast. And cotton processing and circulating companies has become more professional, larger in scale and more integrated.

As international cotton companies have been involved more and more in China cotton market, the competition in China cotton industry will be more intensifying. Domestic cotton companies need to improve their managing level and competitive power.
