Machines of burning biomass pellets started to be used in 80s of the 20th century, but it took some market shares in the later period of 90s in Switzerland, Denmark and Austria. In China, biomass fuels began to be researched in 80s of the 20th century. Although biomass energy grows fast, the stalk fired machine industry is of low level. In 2016, the output of the machines was about 4,000.

At present, China has largely promoted biomass energy industry. In the relative planning, commercialized and large-scale utilization of biomass energy will be achieved in 2020, which will contribute to the development of stalk fired machine industry. In 2022, the demand for the machines will be about 7,000.
