At present, there are nearly a hundred enterprises working in research and development of stem cell technology, construction of stem cell banks and application of related products. In 2016, industrial scale of stem cell represented RMB46 billion.

Under the circumstance that government energetically promotes cutting-edge medical treatment, related policies to stem cell industry is hopeful to be gradually opened up. In 2022, market scale of the industry is predicted to reach RMB231 billion.
